A very rare and historically important School watch from the prestigious watchmaking School of Geneva, Switzerland.
School watches are pieces made, assembled and/or adjusted by student as final year exams. These watches are becoming more and more collectible as they represent the best effort of each student of the best watchmaking schools.
Depending on the year, many different movements have been used in school watches. In circa 1960, the school of Geneva decided to provide the first electric Swiss movement to their student to work on: The Landeron 4751. This technological revolution marked a turning point for the industry.
The watch sold here was sourced directly from a former student who later worked for Patek Philippe.
The movement has been serviced in spring 2026 in Switzerland.

The case measures 35mm without crown, 43mm lug to lug, 12.5mm thick with a 18mm lug width.
It is powered by a Swiss made, electro-mechanical, caliber Landeron 4751 with hacking, fully working.
