Avia "Chronostop"

A beautiful and rare Avia “Chronostop” from the 1950s equipped with the very interesting caliber ETA 1168 “poor man's flyback”.

The pusher at 2 stops the second hand while pressed and the pusher at 4 resets the seconds to 0.

The watch is in a very good condition for its age.

The case measures 36mm without crown, 44mm lug to lug, 11mm thick with a 18mm lug width.

It is powered by a manual wind Swiss made caliber ETA 1168. It has been fully serviced in July 2025.
