A beautiful and iconic IWC Edison from the early 1970s
The Edison is a perfect representation of 1970s watchmaking: An innovative tuning fork movement, a space age case shape and a futuristic material with a tungsten carbide treated case.
Only about 1500 Edison with the caliber 160 were made.

The case measures 42mm without crown, 44mm lug to lug, 12.5mm thick with a 22mm lug width.
It is powered by a Swiss made tuning fork caliber IWC C160 / ESA 9164. It runs and keeps time. The service history is unknown.
